Kirby vs Master Hand

This was my entry for The Kirby Collab 3 by GamerRaven.
And actually my first time animating in years!

Please tell me on what you think and how I can improve.

That was pretty good! It was a bit slow but that can be improved. I think you should work on trying a few more cinematic shots with your characters. For example, when kirby flies in at the beginning you could show him zoom by and then show the star zoom off while kirby zooms up and then show the ground and show kirby's feet when he lands and do a pan up and zoom out to show kirby. Little stuff like that adds a lot of depth and shows a good understanding of cinematography lol. Also start trying to work on a bit more complex movements. For exapmle at 0:37 when you do the kick up you can have kirby flipping backwards while he's going up and then do a flurry of kicks which would look a bit better. But yeah good stuff. keep workin at it and you'll get better!

Thanks for the critique man, appreciate it! I guess I just need to practice and make more animations then. I suppose the animation was slow because at the beginning I was afraid to make too "actiony" and wanted to start slow for some reason haha. Hopefully I will become better as I practice!
